Evolution 1) is the gradual process by which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.
2) a) the process of developing b) gradual development
3) a) change in genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, and resulting in the development of a new species. b) the historical development of a related group of organisms; phylogeny.
“In biology evolution is the process by which populations of organisms acquire and pass on novel traits from generation to generation, affecting the overall makeup of the population and even leading to the emergence of a new species.” – wikipedia.org
I was intending on writing specific evidence for evolution that I have read, studied, or come across but I don't really have the time plus I found a great piece on the evidence for evolution on wikipedia and I’ll just use that for now to read use this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evidence_of_evolution

Hey man, I like your site. It looks very professional and smart! You know me, I have limited information, but here are some questions that maybe you can look at? It is a web site for those DVDs I was telling you about, which describe animals that could not have evolved.

peace bro, see you latta
Hey Dan,
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the site. I will check out the web site that you provided and get back to you about what I think of it. I am almost 99% sure that it is a website run by evangelical Christians attempting to discredit evolution rather than further their own theories or beliefs, and as I always say if all you do is discredit another rather than provide support and evidence for your own beliefs, why, then you begin to discredit yourself.
Thanks for stopping by though, I do appreciate it!
Hey Dan,
I don’t know if you realize this or not but the website that you gave a link to contains absolutely NO information regarding anything!! It is merely a website designed to sell books and movies! If you have a website that you could direct me to that actually does contain information please let me know I would like to examine it/them. However, there is no way in the world I am ready to spend my hard earned money purchasing wild and hallucinatory movies and books from the evangelical establishment. I will not give money to help further the establishment of an organization/movement that I whole heartedly disagree with and believe to be a great determent of progress and humankind. It would be much like me asking you to purchase a subscription to Free Inquiry (The Council for Secular Humanisms magazine) or to purchase movies and books from the humanist/atheist culture. The only difference would be that you helping my organizations would also be helping humanity in general whereas my helping your organizations would be deterring humanity in general!
Thanks again for stopping by.
I looked at the link that 'dan the man' provided and you're right, it's just a sales point for creationist propoganda. I did however watch the trailer on 'Incredible Creatures that Defy Evolution'. It was a piece on the glow worm's ability to produce 'cold light'. The narrarator's premise was that science has not been able to produce light without heat, so this animal could not have evolved.
This is a classic case of attributing anything that we can't understand to the credit of some supreme intelligent designer. The example given in the video clip was of the most efficient incandescent light bulb providing about 10% light and 90% heat (or something like that). The narrator forgot to mention anything about LED technology, which when compared to the glow worm's 'cold light', could probably be a close rival.
Just my two cents worth. And thanks for commenting on my blog.
Sorry for the wait...

Dan the man:
No need to spam every blog post I have written with the same links of propaganda. The same post in my Anarchist-Marxist convergence blog post suffices as does my response to it.
